Introduction to the Lectures


Progress in Global Health is one of the courses studied by the global health major, aiming to highlight the cutting-edge and application of the profession. For this, senior officials and well-known scholars at home and abroad were specially invited to hold a series of characteristic lectures, introducing the important fields of global health and the progress of relevant research, covering global health security, global health diplomacy, global health governance, global health emergency, and research on major global health and health issues, in the form of online and offline integration. Not only can it enable listeners to gain useful knowledge and enlightenment from the rich practice and insight of the lecturers, but also their global vision can be broadened and their understanding of global health affairs and international organizations can be improved.


Lecture 3 Carbon Neutralization and Global Health


Special Guest: Fang Hai

  Professor of Health Economics and Doctoral Supervisor of the China Health Development Research Center of Peking University; Deputy Director of the Joint Research Center for Vaccine Economics, Peking University Health Science Center - Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention; Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Public Health Economy Special Committee of the China Health Economics Association. His research interests are efficiency and equity of health system, vaccine economics, etc. He has successively presided over more than 20 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Chinese Medical Association, the United Nations Children's Fund, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the American Chinese Medical Foundation, the British Medical Research Association, etc., and has published more than 150 academic articles in both Chinese and English.
