Cambodia 2021-22 Population Census and Health Survey Dataset
The 2021-22 Cambodia Demographic and Health Survey is the sixth round of such surveys conducted in Cambodia since 2000. Implemented during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, it reliably reflects the resilience and challenges of Cambodia’s social and health conditions amid the global health crisis. Jointly conducted by the National Institute of Statistics under Cambodia’s Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Health, the survey adopts standardized DHS questionnaires, enabling researchers to conduct cross-country comparative analysis with neighboring countries such as Vietnam and Laos. The dataset includes household, female, male, child, and birth modules, available in Stata, SPSS, and SAS formats.
Timor-Leste Population Dataset
Derived from Timor-Leste’s Demographic and Health Survey, this dataset covers two key time points: 2009 and 2016. It systematically records core demographic and health indicators such as fertility and mortality rates, providing solid data support for population policy formulation and health status evaluation. The dataset features a highly unified structural design with 29 fields covering data identification, indicator definition, geographic information, and survey attributes, facilitating cross-dataset correlation analysis.
It can be used to analyze the age distribution of female fertility in Timor-Leste and the evolutionary trend of fertility rates from 2009 to 2016, so as to assess population growth potential. It supports in-depth analysis of child survival outcomes and identification of high-mortality risk stages such as the neonatal period versus childhood, offering targeted references for child health intervention. It also enables evaluation of the completeness of Timor-Leste’s population registration system and the accessibility of legal identity for children. Additionally, the dataset allows assessment of health status and mortality risks among the working-age population aged 15-50, and further evaluates the supporting capacity of population structure for economic development.
Malaysia Population Dataset
This structured statistical dataset spans 56 years from 1970 to 2025. Adopting a four-dimensional framework of time, gender, age, and ethnicity, it fully captures the dynamic evolution of Malaysia’s population size. With high data quality and multi-dimensional attributes, it supports research on population structure analysis and demographic trend forecasting. The dataset follows a highly standardized structure, containing 17,415 records and 5 fields with no missing or duplicate entries, demonstrating excellent data completeness and consistency.
Brunei Population Information Dataset
This dataset provides high-resolution population distribution estimates for Brunei Darussalam in 2019, with a spatial resolution of approximately 1 kilometer. Stored in a grid format, it consists of three core variables reflecting population density:
X Longitude: Geographic longitude of the grid center;
Y Latitude: Geographic latitude of the grid center;
Z Population Count: Estimated total population within the corresponding 1km grid cell.
Most grid cells in Brunei show extremely low population counts below 1 or close to zero, reflecting the country’s extensive forest coverage and underdeveloped areas. Certain grid cells record a population of approximately 1,000 to 2,700, with one single grid reaching as high as 7,960 around the coordinates of 114.936 longitude and 4.870 latitude, corresponding to Brunei’s administrative centers and major urbanized areas such as the vicinity of Bandar Seri Begawan.
Philippines Population Dataset
This structured dataset contains demographic statistics across administrative regions of the Philippines, officially released by the Philippine Statistics Authority for regional planning and policy formulation. It mainly presents subnational demographic indicators with core dimensions as follows: administrative regions covering all 17 regional divisions including the National Capital Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Ilocos Region; total population by region in specific years; population breakdown by age group, gender, urban-rural residence, and household size; hierarchical structure arranged from national aggregate down to regional subdivisions; time-series data including historical census comparisons and projected population figures for future years; as well as geographic codes, population growth rate, population density, educational attainment, and migration statistics.
Laos Population Dataset
This dataset provides population projections for Laos at hierarchical administrative levels. Compiled collaboratively by the Lao Statistics Bureau, the United Nations Population Fund, and the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the projections are based on the 2015 Lao Population and Housing Census, combined with provincial-level fertility, mortality, and migration rates. Each administrative level contains information on gender distribution, age-group composition, women of reproductive age, youth and elderly population statistics, and geographic coding.
