Participation in regional health governance is one of the priorities of China's development diplomatic strategy, and also an inevitable choice for building a community of human health. The regional cooperation mechanism provides an effective path for China to carry out health cooperation and participate in health governance. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and China Japan ROK cooperation are strategic priorities for carrying out peripheral cooperation. Corresponding health cooperation mechanisms have been established under these mechanisms. China's bilateral and multilateral cooperation under these mechanisms has different needs and characteristics. How to achieve multiple measures and joint efforts, focus on priority areas and actions, adopt different and targeted strategies, and realize the complementary role of multi-level and multi-type health cooperation mechanisms is an urgent scientific issue to be solved.

This topic aims to solve how China conducts health cooperation with neighboring countries, and how to conduct bilateral and multilateral health cooperation through regional cooperation mechanisms. With public health and health as the link, consolidate and deepen international cooperation in the field of public health between China and neighboring countries, so as to build a neighborhood community of health for a shared future.
